Has your wooden floor lost its shine as well as its appeal?
Has it aged, but not gracefully? If so then it may be time to give Essex’s top floor sanding experts a call. For almost two decades The Essex Floor Rejuvenate company CM2 has breathed new life into floors that might be considered past their best. In that time we’ve learnt a lot about what it takes to make a wooden floor look beautiful again, but we’ve learned even more about what our customers want. We know that you don’t just want a service that is affordable; you want one that produces truly great results. You want minimal disruption to your home, with as little dust as possible. And that’s exactly what we deliver. But don’t just take our word for it – check out what previously satisfied Essex homeowners had to say on our testimonials page.
Expert service with virtually no dust
Unlike some companies, we don’t use old fashioned drum sanders to get the job done - we use modern continuous belt machinery that creates hardly any dust. To further minimise dust creation, we use mobile extraction units that follow the machines round, sucking up any debris created. The Essex Floor Restoration CM18 company’s professionalism isn’t just recognised by our customers, we’re also members of the National Wood Flooring Association, The Federation of Small Businesses and the Guild of Master Craftsmen too. What’s more, we’re a Junckers Approved Maintenance Contractor, and we’re insured for up to £5million.

5 top design styles - get the look with sanded floorboards
You've ripped up the carpets, exposed those unloved old floorboards and given them a new lease of life with DIY floor sanding. Now you're ready to finish them to complete the look, so will you choose contemporary or traditional style? Here are five design trends to inspire you.
Coastal
Taking its style cues from the Hamptons, the iconic US coastal region, this trend is characterised by a cool and neutral palette highlighted with blues and greens for a really chic yet beachy feel. Plenty of natural light and white washed wood, blue and white striped fabrics and a free standing wood burner for those cooler nights are all keys to this style. Keep your sanded floor as natural as possible, with a wax finish to bring out its natural beauty and keep the look light.
Mid-century modern
If you love the look of minimalism but want a slightly cosier edge, then mid-century modern with its emphasis on functionality with comfort could be the look for you. Look for pared back furniture with organic shapes like the iconic Egg chair or anything Eames. Be inspired by the rich tones of nature for your finished floor.
Bohemian
There are no rules here, with vintage furniture and flea market finds sitting happily alongside mementos from your travels and beautiful globally inspired fabrics. Pair a glamorous and over the top chandelier with an old chair reupholstered in a funky fabric and don't forget a fabulous rug on a floor that's finished any way you like!
Scandinavian
Simplicity, understatement and a sculptural aesthetic all underlie the Scandinavian look, a kind of pared down and grown up version of shabby chic. Use an all white palette and introduce pops of colour with art or textiles. Painted white floorboards set this look off to perfection.
Industrial
At the other end of the scale, industrial celebrates the raw and the unfinished, with exposed pipe and brickwork - and plenty of wood. Industrial celebrates raw materials, so a key part of the look are exposed floorboards. Keep furniture and art minimal and give your industrial decor a dramatic finish with a dark, lacquered floor.
